Do you feel most comfortable using your digital SLR on automatic? This practical workshop is for people who would like to expand their knowledge of photography and potential as a photographer using their digital SLR camera.
This workshop will be with James McQuarrie owner of The Memory Store. James is a working professional photographer with many years of experience in Landscape and Portrait Photography.
The Memory Store will be giving photography a workshop for beginners through advanced photography.
The subjects covered will be the following.
- Getting to know your camera.
- Take it out of Auto.
- Aperture priority.
- Shutter Priority.
- Exposure compensation.
- Colour balance.
- The rule of thirds.
- Leading lines.
- Fill the frame.
- Use the diagonal.
The workshop will take place on Wednesday evenings at The Memory Store from 18:30 till 20:30 over a period of six weeks. Most of the work done will be hands on (learning by doing) you will be asked to submit some images throughout the workshop.
There will be a certificate of completion when you complete the workshop.
Start date will be 17th Jan 2018 and each week, with the last week being 21st Feb 2018
